Hesperia

Capital

We invest growth equity capital into mission-driven companies to create enduring value for shareholders, employees, customers and their communities

Our Purpose

To connect mission-driven capital with mission-driven companies

Filling the gap between venture and later stage capital, our private investment fund focuses on profit-oriented companies that effectively balance a worthy mission, a purpose-driven culture and a desire to create prosperity for their customers, stakeholders, employees and communities.

Hesperia Capital is funded and fueled by successful entrepreneurs who believe that companies with the following three attributes will perform better, have more sustainable business models and will provide superior investment returns over time.

What is a Mission-Driven Company?

Worthy Mission
  • Provides goods or services that enhance the well being, education, and stability of society to promote broad based prosperity and contribute to the elevation of mankind
  • Creates meaningful economic advancement opportunities for its employees, its customers, its vendors, and the communities in which it does business
  • It is not politically charged or polarizing
  • It is not a “do good” company forsaking financial success to support a cause
Purpose-Driven
  • Maintains a clearly defined purpose embraced by employees at every level
  • Does not rely on slogans, offsites and gimmicks to motivate its people but on a depth of leadership who naturally and effectively foster a genuinely positive and purpose driven culture (without being cultish)
  • Upholds a set of corporate values that permeates the organization
  • Has positive brand value and reputation in the markets it serves
  • Perpetuates a high degree of employee engagement and effectively recruits and retains exceptionally talented people
Profit-Driven
  • Employees at all levels understand the importance of the financial success of the business to perpetuate the mission and how their day to day activity contributes to successful outcomes all around
